Adjustable computer cooling system

I offer an easy-to-manufacture and easy-to-use computer fan control system.
The system has 3 positions:
- disabled;
- low noise mode;
- maximum mode.
To begin with, we will install additional fenestrons under HDD.
To reduce the noise, we fix the fenestrons on an elastic suspension.

To control the cooling had to spoil the front cap:

Insert the switch and the LED into the holes to indicate the operation mode.

The scheme is presented in the figures and photos.
The scheme is not critical to the choice of radioelements:
- 1 kΩ resistors - of any power (0.125 W mt are used);
- R load - a powerful resistor of at least 3 W (using PEV-4)
- Diodes any current of at least 0.5 A (used 1N4007)
- 2-position relay U pit = 12 V (used by REC 23 (12V, 1A))
- two-color LED.

That's all.
The only thing you have to adjust is the voltage of the multi-noise mode.
In our case, the system controls three fenestrons, an input (120 mm) and two blows of the hard drives (60 mm). It was established experimentally that at a voltage of 7 Volt-noise is not great and the performance is acceptable. The wire resistor was set to a voltage of 7 volts during the operation of the fenestrons — a resistance of 20 ohms was obtained.
In your case, the resistance R of the load may have to pick up.
